The
miniature golf tournament was a great success, thanks to all who
participated, donated and helped out. A donation from the proceeds was
made to Operation Military Kids Camp
Nominations for officers will be held at our meeting on May 11 at 7.30
p.m. If you would like to become an officer, or nominate someone,
please come to this meeting. Everyone that attends will be asked to show
his or her 2010 membership card. If you do not have your 2010
membership card, your dues are delinquent, and your membership
privileges have been suspended. Please renew your dues now.
Also, we are still accepting donations for troops in Iraq. Items needed
include powdered drink mix for bottled water, personal hygiene items,
socks, batteries, snacks, dry food items, etc. A collection box is at
the Post. For information call Shirley at 510-1919. Let’s show them
our support!!!
If
anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer to help the Post with
different activities, please talk to an officer of the Legion, Auxiliary
or S.A.L.’s. Volunteers are very important to the success of the Post.
